INDIE Live Expo Winter 2022, the sixth entry in the biannual digital showcase which has amassed more than 57.5 million total views, kicks off the two-day extravaganza today.
Starting at 1:00 AM PST on both days, INDIE Live Expo Winter 2022 will broadcast in English on YouTube and Twitch with separate Chinese and Japanese broadcasts.
ILE Winter 2022 will premiere Yosuke Shiokawa (Kingdom Hearts, Fate/Grand Order)’s first title in development since leaving DELiGHTWORKS earlier this year to found his new studio, Fahrenheit 213.
DAY1: Let’s Play will focus on indie games available now. MCs J-mon and Kaotan will walk us through announcements of updates, new DLCs and world premieres of Early Access games along with the rapid-fire INDIE Waves segment packed with bite-sized content from dozens of games and creators.
DAY2: Awards will be all about Premieres and the reveal of upcoming indies! Catch the debut of new titles such as party co-op Goonya Monster, open-world survival Palworld, as well as the latest updates on the rebirth of Danmaku Kagura on PC and Switch. Find out which 2022 favorites take home the trophy during the third annual INDIE Live Expo Awards.
Over the course of two days, 200+ indie games will be introduced in sponsored segments, rapid-fire introductions, let’s plays, as well as a new Indies Around the World segment highlighting the indie game development scene in Korea.
This weekend’s celebration is accompanied by an ILE Steam Event kicking off on the same day. Pick up ILE Winter 2022 titles showcased this weekend at a discount, as well as titles from sponsors and ILE alumni titles from previous years.
