SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – AUG 31, 2023  The highly acclaimed video game music concert “Heroes: A Video Game Symphony” will showcase two performances with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra at the Cincinnati Music Hall on September 16-17 (a historic event as it is their first time performing a video game music concert). Moreover, the concerts will deliver the first ever performances of music from “Starfield”, the highly anticipated game which is being released on September 6 and is the first new universe in over 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of uber-popular game franchises The Elder Scrolls and Fallout; music from “Starfield” will be included in upcoming concerts, including September 21 & 22 at the Atlanta Symphony. For those who cannot attend the Cincinnati or Atlanta shows, many more once-in-a-lifetime concerts are on the Heroes schedule, which can be found at www.heroes-symphony.com.

Jason Michael Paul – the producer and creator of the first stateside FINAL FANTASY concerts, The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary concerts, The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concerts, and Founder of JMP Entertainment – envisioned the “Heroes” experience to take audience members on a heroes journey, as set forth by Joseph Campbell’s monomyth – a narrative framework that can be seen in many of the games, film, and books throughout history. Everyone’s story is the story of a hero, told through the amazing worlds of other heroes, in an unforgettable experience that is not to be missed.

“Starfield” is being released with international fanfare. In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, players can create any character they want and explore with unparalleled freedom as they embark on an epic journey to answer humanity’s greatest mystery. The concert also will feature music from other Bethesda titles, such as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls: Blades, and Fallout 4.

Paul has produced over 300 video game music concerts since 2004. He is a seasoned concert producer who is known for staging concerts worldwide for notable artists such as Luciano Pavarotti and the Three Tenors. For the “Heroes” concert series, a 70-piece orchestra will be joined by a choir to perform new arrangements of a variety of songs from multiple video game franchises.

“It’s an amazing experience for us to be the first video game music concert performed by the iconic Cincinnati Pops,” notes Paul. “Also, it is an honor to be the first-ever concert production with music from the new ‘Starfield’, which looks to be a global hit.”

Multi award-winning composer Inon Zur, creator of Starfield’s score as well as multiple other film, television, and game soundtracks, says, “Starfield is a huge universe of exploration, with all the mystery and new revelations of outer space. It is an epic game of hope and wonder asking the big questions, where did we come from and where are we going? Once you embark on this journey it is immensely captivating and deeply emotional, and the music conveys this shared adventure for humanity.”

“Heroes” is offering exclusive officially licensed merchandise to fans, and an official recording of a “Heroes” show is planned for 2024. For more information, please visit www.heroes-symphony.com
