Miami, FL (September 15, 2023) – In a huge week for the chart-topping Mexican group, Grupo Frontera, the record-breakers performed at El Zocalo in celebration of Mexican Independence Day to over 200,000 people. The set list included over 25 songs including a surprise guest appearance from their “El Comienzo” album collaborator Manuel Turizo who sang “De Lunes a Lunes” alongside Grupo Frontera and also his hit song “La Bachata.”

Grupo Frontera, known for their captivating sound, has become a household name across Mexico and around the world. Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador extended a personal invitation to Grupo Frontera to perform in the heart of the City.

In addition, coming off the heels of a successful debut album release, Grupo Frontera released the music video for their hit “En Altavoz” featuring Junior H. The song was first released back in August 2023 as part of Grupo Frontera’s freshman album “El Comienzo.”

The music video, directed by Abelardo Baez, features the members Adelaido Solís, Brian Ortega, Julian Peña Jr., Alberto Acosta, Carlos Guerrero and Juan Javier Cantu, along with Junior H, in a pixelated, smokey blue toned room surrounded by telephones. In the video, they passionately plead with their loved one not to hang up on them, apologizing for calling so late.

The record breaking band currently has 15 nominations to Billboard Latin Awards and will also be performing at the show place on October 5, 2023 in Miami. They will also be participating in the Billboard Latin Music Conference during Billboard Latin week.
