FYE, a leading retailer of specialty retailer of entertainment and pop culture merchandise, and  Netherlands based company, Happy Ink, have partnered to bring the cute and cuddly “Hamstas” of “Hamsta World” to North America through an exclusive Hamsta World collection to debut at New York Comic Con and be sold in FYE stores this October.

The Hamsta World franchise focuses on a group of funny furballs known as “Da Hamstas.” They have big mouths and even bigger personalities! Hearing them chat each other up in their crazy language, Hamstanglish, you’ll notice these quirky characters are not the brainiest. But what they lack in smarts, they make up for in sass. From Cosmo Polly to Blue Barry, each and every Hamsta is a fabulously fearless, fiery little critter whose favorite thing is having fun.

The product line will feature Hamsta themed products which include apparel, consumables, plush (Photos Attached), stationery, fashion accessories and more.

The Hamsta World x FYE collection will be available exclusively at FYE retail stores and online at FYE.com in October 2022. FYE and Happy Ink will debut the collection at New York Comic Con, October 6th-9th in NYC at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.  During the convention four (4) NYCC Exclusive Hamsta World products will also be available for purchase. The exclusives include a pin set, convention mug, long sleeve T-shirt and watch.

The Hamstas of Happy Ink have been spreading happiness and joy since 2017. From the mind of Saskia Keiser from the Netherlands, the fun and food-minded Hamstas quickly became global dwellers, putting smiles on faces worldwide.

It all started when Saskia decided to expand her family, adding a tiny dwarf hamster to the crew. Along with her two kids, Saskia happily observed her family’s feisty new friend as he daringly explored his world, stuffing himself silly along the way. She noticed that the hamster’s simple state of being was enough to have everyone in hysterics. What a gift this little hamster could give – bringing joy simply by being himself.
