Frost Film Review

Frost is a film by director Brandon Slagle starring Vernon Wells (Grant) and Devanny Pinn (Abby). Abby is going to see her father who lives out in the middle of nowhere. A father and daughter relationship on the rocks and Abby has some major life-changing news for her dad. Not knowing what she is in for not only with her father but what is to come.

A rocky start to her visit but things change as she breaks the news to her father they fight and argue. Grant tells Abby they should go fishing and this doesn’t go as planned. They now find themselves in a life-or-death balance, not in their favor. Stranded wrecked and badly hurt Grant tries to help Abby but he must free himself and go get help. Abby is now in a fight for her life and more but not just of the cold but her mind and a wolf.

Overall a good but slow film with a decent story I give this one a 6 out of 10. Abby’s story will get dark very dark which will have an impact on some viewers. I found it to be a bit on the shocking side but I’m ok with it some will not. The slow pace of the story is my only issue. I say check it out and see the story unfold for Abby it is a twisted and sad one with one hell of an unexpected ending of the film. Check it out now on DVD and see if it shocks you or not.
