Heavy upgrades for Farming Simulator 22 on display: With the Platinum Expansion, publisher and developer GIANTS Software prepares to show loads of new content for the million-selling agricultural simulation at this year’s gamescom.
New brands, new machines, new gameplay mechanics as well as a new map and more will be presented with Farming Simulator 22 – Platinum Edition. There’s a brand-new video trailer to tune fans and gamers in on the agricultural spirit that will be present at gamescom.
Platinum Edition: Hands-on at gamescom
From August 24th to 28th, visitors can experience the upcoming content of the Platinum Edition (including the Platinum Expansion, in addition to the base game) at the Farming Simulator booth (B41) in hall 7. Cultivating fields and forests, gamers get an early preview of the new map Silverrun Forest, the new machines by Volvo Group and many others, and more before launching on November 15th on PC and consoles.

Farming Simulator on Stage
In addition to the gaming stations running the Platinum Edition, GIANTS Software invites gamescom attendees to direct their eyes towards their own stage: Each day, exciting shows await. Meanwhile, the Platinum Edition is presented at 11 am and 3 pm with game demos – showing off new features like cable cranes pulling massive trees and the assembly of a rollercoaster through the delivery of logs.
At 1 pm and 5 pm, another game add-on takes the stage: The Farming Simulator 22: Pumps N’ Hoses Pack by Creative Mesh introduces so-called umbilical systems for efficient manure distribution to Farming Simulator, allowing virtual farmers to lay and combine hundreds of meters of draggable hoses on their soil. The third-party DLC releases on September 27th on PC and consoles.
Farming Simulator 22 is available for PC, Mac, PlayStation®5 (PS5™), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and Stadia. Farming Simulator 22 – Platinum Edition will be released on November 15th. A Year 1 Season Pass is available, including the Platinum Expansion and extending the game with even more content.
