SAN ANTONIO (July 28, 2026) – Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) is hosting its fifth annual Back to School Bash at Frost Bank Center on Saturday, Aug. 8 from 12-3 p.m. Parents, students and teachers in grades K-12 are invited to attend this event for free school supplies and resources while supplies last. Registration is now open and required for attendance.
In partnership with local organizations, businesses, nonprofits and school districts, this event will offer a range of free resources and services, including:
- School supplies for K-12 grade levels
- Dental screenings
- Heart screenings
- Glucose screenings
- Haircuts
- Information booths for school enrollment, extracurricular activities, mental health support and family support services.
In the five years since it launched, the SS&E Back to School Bash has drawn over 14,000 attendees. Within the past two years alone, the event has provided over 1,400 health screenings, 1,000 dental screenings and cleanings and 23,000 school supplies.
“Every student deserves to begin the school year with the tools and confidence they need to succeed,” said Patricia Mejia, Chief Impact & Inclusion Officer at SS&E. “Back to School Bash is about removing barriers for families while bringing our community together to support students and educators. We’re grateful to our partners who make this event possible and help set thousands of young people up for a strong start to the school year.”
Parents or guardians must be present with their children, and educators must have their teacher ID upon entering the event. Items and services will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and only while supplies last.
