Atlanta, GA — Americana rockers Faithless Town have released their latest single, “Bride,” a lively, romantic track featuring a cheerful duet with Leora Joy Perrie, of the Canadian folk duo Winsome Kind. The song is a love letter, one so heartwarmingly devoted that it is sure to have listeners feeling lovestruck. “Bride” is available now to stream and download on all digital platforms, with its accompanying music video being released on Valentine’s Day.

Set to the vibrant jangle of a ukulele and propelled forward by energetic “heys” reminiscent of Edward Sharpe and The Lumineers, the song’s infectious chorus and overall exuberant, merry energy sets “Bride” as a strong contender for enthusiastic, unconditional romance, and a go-to wedding song. The track is a celebration of connection and partnership, in which frontman Gene Owens wears his heart on his sleeve in a refreshing love declaration. “Bride’s” enthusiasm is so genuine it becomes contagious, fusing tender storytelling with youthful exuberance. Leora Joy Perrie’s feature makes the track all the more bright and cheerful, bringing on a softer, more delicate side of the Americana rock band.

The track arose out of sheer love and dedication, bursting with excitement for a future together. “I wrote this song as a love letter to my wife when I was getting ready to propose to her,” comments Owens. “It’s probably the most optimistic and romantic song I’ve ever written.” He says that transforming the intimate, private moment of proposing into an occasion of shared joy was also part of the creative process. “While we were tracking the song, Dan Dixon, our producer (Tuk Smith, The Biters, Dropsonic, PLS PLS), started whistling the chorus melody, and I was like, “That’s perfect. We need to put that in the song!” This collaborative effort culminates in the final track, produced by Owens and Dixon, featuring Perrie’s vocals and Darron Dodd on drums.

Faithless Town’s latest record, Into The Light Vol.1, is the first part of their upcoming two-part album; when played together, the complete EPs add up to sides A and B of a classic full-length album. Since its release in April, the first project has gained praise from champions like Bored City, Twangville, Americana UK, Rock At Night, and Impose Magazine, among others. Faithless Town is set to release Vol. 2 later this year.

The rock band, originally from Atlanta, GA, released their first full-length album, American Refugee, in 2012, featuring the single “Ghosts Of My Hometown,” which received FM radio play throughout the American southeast. Their sophomore album, EMPIRES, featuring the singles “California Come Home” and “New World Order,” was released by Spectra Records in 2020. Faithless Town’s portfolio boasts some of the most famous stages in the country, including The Whisky a Go Go and The Viper Room. They have supported acts such as Chris Knight, Graham Colton, Five Times August, The Band Camino, and Jake Clemons of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band.

Led by infectious joy, a heartwarming theme, and romantic lyrics, “Bride” is a glistening single that lends itself to being the backdrop for unforgettable moments and connections between people.
