LOS ANGELES (Mar. 1, 2024) – Today, SQUARE ENIX® and sports car manufacturer Porsche AG announced a collaboration to celebrate those who are Driven by Dreams. In celebration of the release of the critically acclaimed, FINAL FANTASY™ VII REBIRTH, fans can hear from creators of the original FINAL FANTASY VII and the FINAL FANTASY VII remake project in a visionary short film.

In the film, FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Creative Director Tetsuya Nomura, Producer Yoshinori Kitase and Director Naoki Hamaguchi hit the streets of Tokyo in two iconic Porsche 911 – a classic car from 1997 and the most recent 2024 model year – to reflect on the legacy of FINAL FANTASY VII (released in 1997) and what it was like to dream the groundbreaking RPG into existence with no existing road to follow.

To celebrate the collaboration, Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles added a specially themed Porsche 911 featuring a FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH livery to their fleet. Voice actors from the game, Briana White (Aerith), Caleb Pierce (Zack), Suzie Yeung (Yuffie) and Max Mittlemen (Red XIII), were able to take the customized 911 out on the driver development course for a thrilling, hands-on driving experience.
