Danimals® and SEGA® of America team up for 30 years of Sonic the Hedgehog!

Spirited Bongo Becomes Playable Video Game Character For The Very First Time And Sonic The Hedgehog Invites On Danimals® Smoothies And Yogurt For A Limited Time

White Plains, New York. May 19, 2021  – Danimals® announces today a promotional partnership with  SEGA of America  to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog: Fans will have the opportunity, for the first time ever, to customize their characters in the mobile game  Sonic Dash  by downloading the game via a QR code on Danimals packages featuring the image of Sonic Dash, or directly from the App Store and Google Play. Players will receive the legendary Danimals brand mascot, Bongo, as a playable character in addition to the ability to unlock the special Pirate Sonic and Captain Shadow characters.

If you don’t know Bongo, he’s the Danimals children’s totem animal: this adventure enthusiast lives in a magical treehouse, where he plays all day with his friends. With Bongo, children are in charge, parents are prohibited and fun always comes first!

For a limited time, Sonic will appear on certain packaging of Danimals smoothies and gourds. Fans will be able to download Sonic Dash by scanning the QR code behind the Sonic packaging: they will receive Bongo as a playable character after completing the tutorial level. Special versions of Pirate Sonic and Captain Shadow can be obtained in-game by collecting all four anniversary items on the track, including the Danimals Smoothie Pack.
