Blaine Holcomb’s “Lover Like You” shines brightly as a gem within the rich tapestry of his EP ‘Boot Shoppin’.’ The song takes the listener on a journey through the timeless theme of falling in love in a way that feels entirely new. The richness of Holcomb’s vocals and the traditional country instrumentation create a nostalgic and timeless atmosphere reminiscent of the ’90s country we all know and love.

“Lover Like You” serves as the emotional centerpiece of the EP, where Holcomb’s lyrics vividly describe the desire for a love so profound that it not only captures your heart but also reshapes your entire world. The verses paint scenes of stopping in your tracks, hanging up your hat, and realizing that no other love will ever compare.

Within Boot Shoppin,’ “Lover Like You” complements the other tracks seamlessly. From the boot-scooting energy of “Boot Shoppin'” to the anthem for all musicians and dreamers alike in “That’s Where I Call Home” to the heartbreak ballad “Make it to Mexico,” each song contributes a distinct flavor to the EP.
