NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 15, 2022) — Cody Belew‘s new “Rodeo” music video — a “tender folk ballad” (Country Queer) comparing the “crazy ride” of heartache and lost love to the rodeo — made its Times Square billboard debut today in NYC, as the visual made its world premiere on CMT. “What feels like an eternity was really just 8 seconds — a blink,” says Cody, whose father is a bull rider. “You’ve got to dust yourself off and walk out of it with your head up and your heart ready to ride another day.” Continuing the momentum generated by by a recent appearance and performance on the Netflix’s “Coming Out Colton,” multiple new releases and his debut EP, along with a string of shows at Nashville’s iconic Lipstick Lounge, Cody will release his version of “Neon Moon” with GRAMMY-winning producer Dave Audé on Friday, June 17 (pre-save here: https://codybelew.ffm.to/neon). This weekend marks the sixth show in his “Lipstick Lounge Presents” series — and we’d love to hold tickets for you. The show is this Saturday, June 18 at 8pm.
