Born to Fly is an action film by Xiaoshi Liu starring Yibo Wang and Jun Hu. A young pilot trying to make the Test Pilot program work on the next-gen aircraft. One pilot will learn to work as a team and find himself to be the pilot to get the test data to make the new-gen aircraft work. He will fail and want to quit but has a mind for this and starts working on his ideas to help the program. When his instructor sees what he is working he explains to him his idea that came from his time packing parachutes.

He gets back into the test pilot squad takes his idea and starts to make it work but one test flight goes wrong and one pilot dies and he is badly hurt. He comes back to finish his mission and takes the lead on getting the data. A major impact with some wild birds turns a test flight going well into a nightmare. Just he is not going to fail or lose any more lives he overcomes and gets the data and saves their lives.

A great action film with a look at a young man finding his place in life. He has to dig deep to become the leader and team member he needs to be. I give this one an 8 out of 10. The story is great and seeing him overcome a lot to be the pilot he always knew he could become. A ton of emotion you get to see he has to go through and overcome.
