Bone Cold Film Review

Bone Cold directed by Billy Hanson starring Matt Munroe and Jonathan Stoddard. A team sniper team gets pulled back in quickly for another mission. A black ops team is now sent into a place they should not be and are on their own if things go south. A simple mission they were told but things go very wrong fast.

Now faced with a failed mission awaiting extraction they are given new orders. To complete the original mission just one of the snipers is facing some internal demons. He is seeing a shadowy figure that is haunting him and messing with his head. Putting both of them in a very bad spot now facing contact with hostile forces.  They must get the kill and stay alive just it’s not as simple as a counter-sniper on their tail as well as something inhuman hunting them.

They are engaged with the enemy and one of them is wounded pinned down. They can not leave without making the kill as well as getting rid of the enemy. In a coordinated move they hit the counter sniper and regroup for the hit. They get to the location of the target and make the move on the target sparking a firefight. As the fight is over it’s time to finish off the wounded target. The sniper needs to get the final confirmation on the target the other one goes and finished the job. He is hit by the counter sniper who is still alive. The other sniper is seeing the monster and is engaged in a mental battle with it. Making for a huge change for him and his life.

Overall a decent film the story was not bad and it made for a good watch. I give this one a 6 out of 10. A few things with how the team did things looked off how the trip pod has sliver legs reflecting light. A few details that made it look like they didn’t know how to be a black ops team. As a huge fan of war movies, I noticed those details. I did enjoy the addition of the monster messing with one of them as added a good layer to the film and the outcome of it was done well.  Be sure to check this one out and see how it ends.
