March 16, 2023 (Austin, TX) — Last night, BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) showcased the best emerging talent in Latin music at its signature Sonidos stage during the 2023 SXSW Music Conference and Festival. The showcase took place at Parish and featured electrifying performances by an eclectic group of artists from around the globe including Mexico City, Puerto Rico, the U.S. and Colombia.
Alt-pop/funk duo Caravanchela opened the showcase, followed by indie pop singer-songwriter Neysa Blay, pop/rock singer-songwriter Jona Camacho, contemporary art-pop trio Estereomance, and alternative R&B songstress Girl Ultra closed out the evening. Attendees also got to enjoy nu-cumbia sounds by DJ El Dusty.
