What is up my music fans! Today, wanted to do something bit different and just rename this weekly post. I have made a “Vic’s Top 5 Tracks for The Week” and will be doing them by episodes. Obviously this is the first season or season premiere but all good from that! Either way, welcome to the first episode of Vic’s Top Tracks and with no further to do:

Here are some of my fav tracks of the week:

Eva Lazarus – ‘How Am I Looking?’

Eva Lazarus is best known for the expert navigation of musical moods through her larger-than-life vocals. The R&B songstress now returns with her delectable new offering ‘How Am I Looking?’. Produced by Dirty Dike (Rag N Bone Man, Ocean Wisdom), the track is a self-love and self-care anthem that combines empowering lyrics with a soothing soundscape.

Jeremy Engel – ‘I Got Caught’

With his captivating voice and intimate storytelling, Jeremy Engel has a unique way of touching listener’s hearts. Inspired by the likes of Leonard Cohen, Damien Rice and Rory Gallagher, the French-born /Dublin-based singer/songwriter creates deeply evocative songs.

With fluid guitar playing and adventurous soundscapes, Jeremy has proven himself to be the rare artist capable of perfectly capturing listeners’ emotions. Now he returns with his new poetic offering ‘I Got Caught’. Driven by Jeremy’s impassioned vocals, he shares with us his complex introspection surrounding a suffocating relationship. The internal battle he’s having is further reflected in the instrumentation, with a circling guitar line and intensifying strings.

Jenna Isn’t Famous – ‘Too Romantic’

LA singer/songwriter Jenna Isn’t Famous shares the impossible fight of having her head rule her heart in her new track ‘Too Romantic’. The captivating pop track uses a euphonious blend of arpeggiated chords combined with synth violins to create the feeling of yearning.

This will be her first release in 2022 after she kick started her career in June of last year. As she returns Jenna Isn’t Famous is determined to inspire people through her music as well as being an advocate of self love and knowing your worth.

JZ – ‘Why Do I?’

R&B artist JZ has reached over 80,000 views on the GRM Daily platform and now returns with her new track ‘Why Do I?’ feat Bandito on LINK UP TV.

‘Why Do I?’ is a cool-cut R&B track with a commercial appeal. JZ brings her raw but smooth vocals which contrasts well with Bandito’s fresh flow to the scene.

Romantic Thriller – ‘I Cannot Tell’

LA based performance artist and mastering engineer, Rebecca Huston, aka, Romantic Thriller says her music is inspired by film noir, the dictionary states of the film genre: it’s marked by a mood of fatalism and menace. The avant garde artist weaves an intricate tale on her new offering ‘I Cannot Tell’. Eerie synths and an enigmatic vocal line make up the haunting soundscape of the track, making for an otherworldly listening experience.
