223 Wick Horror Movie Review

223 Wick is a horror movie that gives those throw back vibes from the Hitchcock era! Father John is a priest that has constant nightmares and visions not only at night but during the daytime as well. He figures out where he needs to go to in order to see what is really happening to him. He finds a place on 223 Wick that will take him into a place that guides him into a nonstop nightmare. While this is going on, another priest is worried that Father John is trying to take is spot and glory. He and another priest are trying to figure out ways to make sure Father John doesn’t rise up the ranks and take away their spots.

223 Wick is pretty good horror movie that will keep your eyes glued to the screen from beginning to the end. The story in the movie just reads off just like a book. The movie script spills its guts off about the characters on who they are, the location and its history, and that ending. The ending is fantastic yet unexpected. I won’t spoil that here in the review but I admit once you see the movie, the ending will knock the air out of you. Below is a quick review of the movie, I have to say though, when you get the chance, see the movie. As a Hitchcock fan, this rides right up your alley with a fantastic story and more.

Here is the review:

Pro:

  • Story
    • The story of this movie is fantastic! I actually felt this story is like a book you would read but brought to life with the actors and the film. My imagination was going wild through the movie with the fantastic story telling from the director as well as how fantastic the actors and actresses brought those characters to life.
  • Alexi Stavrou
    • Alexi portrayed Father John so damn well in the movie that I had goosebumps all over my arms. You can feel his terror and more throughout the movie. All of the actors and actresses did an amazing job in this movie but Alexi just has something special that drew me in more with his scenes in the movie.
  • The Ending
    • Man oh man, I couldn’t believe that ending! I didn’t imagine something like that happening to the characters especially John. I thought of something would happen but not that way or go in that direction. The director and writers did an excellent job to tell this story and they entertained me hard!
