Violent Night is directed by Tommy Wirkola starring David Harbour and John Leguizamo. In a blood-filled action film, an ultra-wealthy family is home invaded on Christmas eve. As Santa Claus is making his rounds he happens to be at this home as they strike. Now Santa and his family filled people on the naughty list and non-believers in Santa. Will make for a Violent Night as Santa finds himself put in a tough spot when he is reached by the young girl Trudy.
Santa now must save Trudy and find his love Christmas again and make peace with his own violent past. Giving us one hell of a wild-blooded filled film. I must say I did not know what to expect in this film but I enjoyed this one. It was a perfect blend of action, blood, and family was a wild mix. I give this one a 7 out of a 10 for the wild action David nailed the violent Santa role to the letter and John the villain also. A very unique look at Santa’s past and I like where they went with the film.
This Blu-Ray is filled with extras and deleted scenes to enjoy a new Christmas watch for me be sure to check this one out.
