October 21, 2022 (Nashville, TN): Rising country singer Reed Foley’s new single “Beer Needs Drinkin'” is available now on all streaming and download services.

North Carolina-native Reed Foley knows a few things: life is busy, work is hard, and every weekend is “a raise your glass and tip it on back kind of weekend.” In his new single “Beer Needs Drinkin,'” the singer tells the age-old story of making it to Friday night and letting loose after a week of grinding.

Starting with neighborhood performances at the young age of 15, Foley’s talents have taken him from small-town bars to some of NASCAR’s biggest stages and everything in between. In March 2017, Reed released his first single, “Who’s Turning You On” and celebrated that same day by opening for Tyler Farr and Jason Aldean at Runaway Country Music Festival. Following the release of his single, he was soon after invited to open for William Michael Morgan. “Beer Needs Drinkin'” is Foley’s anticipated return to releasing music since 2021’s piano version of his debut single.

With the audible pop of a tab, Foley begins to pour out his sorrows and rallies listeners to join in on the frivolity. With descriptions of being “overworked and underpaid” and having “problems that need forgettin'” for forty-eight hours, the singer is a relatable emerging voice in the country genre. His smooth Southern drawl and twang pair perfectly with a Bud Light and a long day at the lake.

“Beer Needs Drinkin’ is a song designed to be a working person’s anthem. It’s an energetic, cut loose song that will remind you of “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” or “Drink In My Hand.” The most interesting about this song is that it was years in the making. I literally was rewriting words to the songs minutes before we cut vocals!” -Reed Foley

When not performing, the artist can be found in Nashville writing with some of the industry’s best like Clay Mills, Terry McBride, and Brett Sheroky. Foley is gearing up for his annual Toys for Tots fundraiser while playing various shows throughout the Southeast. A lyric video and music video for the single are expected soon.
