LOS ANGELES – August 7, 2023 – Survival: Fountain of Youth, the single-player survival game set in the 16th-century Caribbean islands by developer Odinsoft and publisher Twin Sails Interactive, furthers its horizon with a boatload of new content available now on Steam Early Access.
Return to the Caribbean and continue searching for the Fountain of Youth in a newly added third region full of treacherous islands and underwater terrain to explore. Overcome the dangerous weather patterns like thick fog, deadly electric stingrays, and more by utilizing new traps, perks, and a new ship. Packed with tons of content to explore, adventurers can expect an additional 20 hours of gameplay in the new update.
Set during Juan Ponce de Leon’s legendary 16th-century expedition to find the fabled Fountain of Youth, shipwrecked survivors must overcome wild threats and scarce resources, scavenging for necessities and establishing a base of operations as they explore a mysterious collection of islands. The new update builds upon a successful Early Access launch garnering a positive 86% rating overall, with the addition of new territories, including sunken ships, enigmatic underwater temples, craggy cliff sides, and expanded gameplay mechanics.
Survivors can now set traps to prey upon the unwary wildlife and help automate the food-gathering process – but are now in danger themselves from flocks of bats, electric stingrays, hunting packs of wild jackals… and most alarmingly, the ferocious puma. The fearsome Great Jackal pack leader serves as the ultimate test of an explorer’s grit and survival skills, calling upon bloodthirsty allies if not swiftly disposed.
In turn, the new Spanish Schooner will greatly assist a survivor’s ability to explore the nearby waters with incredible speed and increased storage to carry their hard-earned resources. Also, the addition of iron as a new crafting material, allows for more powerful tools and weapons, a massive improvement to their capabilities in the face of these new threats.

Survival: Fountain of Youth is now available on Steam Early Access for Windows PC and will be discounted 20% from today 7:00 PM CET until Thursday, August 10. The latest update for the single-player survival game features new localization support for Japanese and Spanish (Spain), alongside its already existing English, French, German, Russian, and Simplified Chinese-language support.
