Missing Film Review

Missing a film from the director Nicholas D. Johnson starring Tim Griffin, Storm Reid, and Nia Long. The story of  June a young woman who is about to have her world come crashing down. Her life is about change in a way no one can ever see coming. A carefree young woman who feels her mother is very overprotecting her. Not knowing the full story of her life. Her mother is about to go on an international trip with her new boyfriend. Ready to cut loose and party June is left with a babysitter her mom’s friend but that will not stop the party.

Things hit fast when she woke up on the day she had to pick up her mom and boyfriend. She scrambles to find a housekeeper to clean the party’s mess and make her way to the airport. Just her mother and boyfriend never arrive she panics and heads home to try to contact her mother. She now must take things into her own hands and find out what happened to her mother and her boyfriend.

She uses all she can social media wise she can and streaming city camera websites. She even gets a contact over there to help track down any clues. She starts to uncover her mother’s boyfriend has a very unclean past. She also uncovers her mother has been hiding something from her and it will come to light her true past. All things are just pieces of a puzzle.

A film that I didn’t think would get me hooked but I was oh so wrong. The plot and how it all unfolds make for a great story and will grab you in. I give this one an 8 out of 10 a story that hooks you and you become invested in June’s dilemma. Watching it unfold and seeing if your gut has told you who did it or not. I did not like June to start the film she is a typical young woman treating her mom like crap but that changed when she realizes she may never see her again.
