Interview:

What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your
surroundings?

We don’t really have any set inspiration or set way of writing music. We all listen to various genres and artists who’ve inspired us throughout the years. I suppose we’re just trying to write music that we love and hopefully other people can vibe with too. I wouldn’t say our music has any deep meaning or message behind it other than a good time.

What type of music did you listen to growing up?

We all listened to very different music. Some listened to heavy metal/rock while others were more r n b and rap. I think that’s helped us create a wider sound and given us more mobility in terms of songwriting.

Is there someone you looked up as a hero?

We’d all have various people we looked up to. We are all lucky to have very supportive families who have encouraged us to pursue music. Other heroes include some footballers, some musicians obviously, and our drummer Chris has always been a huge Batman fan for some reason so I suppose his hero would be Batman!

If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?

Who knows! Our guitarist Eoin would still be a teacher and Gav our bassist works in the world of health care. Chris our drummer has a passion for computer science and Andy our frontman would probably be doing sales or something.

What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create
music?

Our advice would be to just give it a go and make whatever music you can. You’ll eventually make something decent and enjoy the process on the way too! If you don’t buy a ticket you won’t win the raffle. It’s important at times to pause and reflect on what you’ve achieved as it’s very easy with music to end up in a vicious cycle of chasing the next piece of success.
