Interview:

What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your
surroundings?
It could be anything really. We’re all very sensitive individuals so we could be crying over a particular film which might inspire a song, or maybe we had a particularly rough night of drinking and we just gotta sing about it, who knows. Sometimes we’ll sing about things we love, such as a sexy Frankenstein monster or our favourite Goosebumps story.

What type of music did you listen to growing up?
We all grew up listening to all kinds of music. We definitely gravitated towards heavier music, like any teenager growing up in the 00s would – bands like KoRn, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, etc. But we always liked other stuff too, from Red Hot Chili Peppers to Jaco Pastorious, to Boney M and anything in between. We just love music!

Is there someone you looked up as a hero?
Bender from Futurama. We still look up to him now to be honest.

If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?
We’d probably be running the world’s best brothel. We could even start a chain of brothels that pay their workers a good wage, provides health care, is safe and fun for everyone involved. We could even have themed days – Lunar Mondays, Wild West Wednesdays, Flower Child Fridays, you name it!

Brb, gonna head to the bank to ask for a loan.

What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create
music?
Try not to think too much about what “the right way” to do things is. Fact is, we’re all just running around like headless chickens, trying things out along the way. You’re gonna feel stuck at times which is when you might be inclined to look outwards for advice and whatnot, but you’d probably be best to juts do things on your own and see what works and what doesn’t.
