Interview:

How did you get your start in music?

My personal musical ”career” was born like many others in a garage in full adolescence at the age of 15, but it was at the age of 27 when I heard Tool for the first time in the HexagonLab recording room , owned by the guitarist of the band Edoardo , who matures the desire to share my soul by turning it into music with the people . It all stems from a sort of intrinsic responsibility.

As for the birth of the band, however, founded in 2022 by Vito Tambasco (singer), Edoardo Di Vietri (lead guitar), Valentin Bernard (bass), Michael Veneri (lead guitar) and Matteo De Marco (synths and guitar), Euthymia was founded from the ashes of the band with which we lived our first 12 years as musicians: the Men in the box.

After 1 full year of concerts and after having played important stages such as Rock Castle in the Czech Republic, Meeting Del Mare in Italy in addition to various clubs between Germany and Italy, we decided to focus on more sophisticated progressive stylistic metrics and to find a new band that could best represent our current feelings and our artistic maturation.

What type of music did you listen to while growing up?

The representation of our music is based on esoterism culture, Jungian psychology, psychoanalysis and astronomy, and is expressed mostly using sounds, aesthetics and structures related to metal and progressive Rock deriving from bands such as Tool, Porcupine Tree and Alcest, bands with which I have worn out my hearing aids over time.

What are fun stories you can share while you’re in the studio recording music?

The funniest anecdotes? uhm… You must know that we are Studio Recording Mice, so we mainly close ourselves for hours in the studio without general moments of hilarity, but sometimes we allow ourselves a ” Stones” tournament, a sport between a mix of bowls and basketball returning to our Homo Habilis form.

I don’t know how funny it is, but I think it has the potential to become a registered winter sport.

What is your latest song or album you can share with us?

I’d like to share with you the exoskeleton Live version of the song that will be our first single soon : Eunoya.

Eunoya was the first song that we wrote in times of Covid and that completely bares our soul towards the ancient fears of the human being since we were children, up to the last moments in which we begin to hear the faint call of the unknown, of the beyond.

You will find the Live performance of the mentioned piece at the link :
