Music speaks to our souls through words, sounds, and even visual effects. Generations of music from the past still influences musicians today as it still speaks to them and their souls. We are able to sit down and get an interview with UK Musician Dave England and talk a little bit of music growing up, what would you do if you weren’t a musician and much more.

Here is the interview:

What is your inspiration to write your music? Is it your
surroundings?

It can honestly come from anything. Love, life, my children, or different emotions that I feel. These thing I find is to get myself out of the way and let the music create it’s own flow.

What type of music did you listen to growing up?

Jimi Hendrix, SRV, Clapton, Zeppelin, GnR all the greats really. But I will listen to anything as long as it moves me.

Is there someone you looked up as a hero?

Jimi Hendrix, the guy was just out of this world and sometimes I think he wasn’t of it either. Ha ha.

If you weren’t a musician, would you be doing today?

Football probably, I did well as a youngster. Played for Huddersfield town as a youth and enjoyed it.

What advice do you have for our fans out there that want to create
music?

Get started right away! Don’t wait, get into the flow of music and you will soon find yourself writing over and over but you must make a start. I find you need to get out 20 songs to make an album of 10 if that makes sense.
