Spin the bottle to this volcanic spewing horror filled Halloween special from Justin Roiland! In this special, your hosts Leroy, Cheruce, and Reggie are given a spot to host their own Halloween Special from Hulu. They don’t want to disappoint their masters at Hulu and want to showcase some of the best horror shorts out there today! While they are hosting, the hosts and their cousin Vatche are stalked, attacked, and even endure a Child’s Play in the special. You would go from the situation with the Paloni’s to the next short and then back to the Paloni’s.
I enjoyed this Halloween special as I felt it did justice to all aspects of the horror genre that had the gore, that had the scary story, and that had the creative freedom of pushing the edges of TV. You felt like they had the cuffs off and were able to create something wild and unique that kept you entertained. I did a quick review below and I won’t spoil much as you gotta see it when it comes out October 17 on Hulu. This show is funny, entertaining and will have you check your pants to see if you soiled yourself.

Pro:
- Horror
- Each short showcased a horror specific situation and mimicked some of horror’s biggest movies. I was in awe of how the writers recreated those horror movie’s using specific parts of the short with something zany. One of my favorites is with the banana people and the peeling each other in that weird place. The guy wasn’t a banana and was wearing a costume and he was like ummm… wrong place haha.
- Gory
- Hanging eyeballs, blown away face, blood splashing on the screen like it was 1981 all over again! Majority if not all episodes had some gory situations that eeked freakiness! There a few times where I “had something in my eye that I needed to take my glasses off and clean” during the special.
- Legendary Voice Actors
- At the end of the special, the credits ran down the voice actors participating! I was astonished on so many horror vets providing their voices in this Halloween Special! A few names such as Robert Englund, Matthew Lillard, etc are a few names that caught my attention. I had to rethink which voices were they in the episodes and a rewatch was needed. Throughout the rewatch, I had found them and many more!
