Peso Pluma’s artistry and musical prowess are on full display in “GENESIS.” Sprinkled with impeccably arranged musical interludes, each of the 14 tracks is grounded by the Sinaloan tambora, hard-hitting verses and that singular voice which have become synonymous with Peso Pluma. Produced by Ernesto Fernandez, Ivan Leal Reyes “Parka”, Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija and Geroge Prajin, the album features an array of powerhouse collaborations including focus track “LUNA” featuring Junior H, “CARNAL” with Natanael Cano, “VVS” alongside Darey Castro and Edgardo Nuñez, “SU CASA” featuring Luis R Conriquez and “LADY GAGA” with Gabito Ballesteros and Junior H, among other noteworthy collaborations.
In addition to these collaborations, Peso Pluma delivers powerful solo performances in his latest record such as the edgy tune “RUBICON,” the tenacious “ZAPATA,” the gritty “NUEVA VIDA” and the previously released hit breakup ballad “BYE.”
The superstar has made history time and time again, breaking many records and becoming the first to acquire many titles. Last week Peso Pluma became the first artist to dominate both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global 200 Excl. U.S. simultaneously with two different songs: “Ella Baila Sola” with Eslabon Armado and “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 55” with Bizarrap. The rising star made Spotify Mexico history as the first Mexican artist to lead the ‘Daily Top Artists Mexico’ chart. He currently holds 10 positions on the Billboard Global 200 and three songs on the Spotify Top 50 Global.
Having recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the first Regional Mexican act to do so, Peso Pluma is breaking the mold and showing the next generation of artists that a musician’s superpower is remaining true to themselves.
