August 1st, 2023 – Alawar Premium is ecstatic about how successful the launch of Wall World was in April, and they’re thrilled to give fans more of the game they love! The upcoming Deep Threat DLC introduces new biomes, weapons and meta upgrades, a mysterious robospider boss, and other content additions that will add at least 8 hours of playtime. Wall World: Deep Threat will be available on August 9th for $2.99 USD or as part of a discounted bundle with the base game and OST for only $9.34 USD on Steam.

We thought a lot about how to present this story and what graphics and mechanics to use in the narrative so that the player could get a complete picture of the world we have invented. Wall World is filled with the mysterious and fantastical. As players explore the world, they’ll witness changing biomes with variant weather and uncover mysteries as they delve into procedurally generated mines. Within the depths of the Wall lie secrets for players to uncover and a story that unfolds as they gather the necessary resources to upgrade their robospider and exosuit.
While digging into the mines of the Wall and uncovering mysteries, players will also have to contend with swarms of enemies ready to attack their robospider and end their exploration. Featuring rogue-lite gameplay, players will be able to unlock upgrades for their robospider and their exosuit which will carry over with each playthrough as they attempt to get to the bottom of what happened to “the others” of the world.
General Gameplay Features:
- Mine: Burrow deep into the Wall in different places. Look for resources and technologies for upgrades, discover new biomes in the mines — but don’t forget to return to your robospider in time for the next monster attack.
- Fight: Shoot and hack at nightmarish creatures with a variety of weapons, from simple machine guns to homing missiles. Increase your chances of survival by breaking camp instantly and continuing the fight on the go.
- Upgrade: Modernize your exosuit with resources and technologies you find to move faster in mines and break through ever tougher rocks. Upgrade your robospider’s combat stats to deal with the increasingly dangerous enemies that await you on the endless Wall.
- Explore: Discover mysterious locations and fantastic biomes. See how the Wall World changes as you move further along it, day and night.
