Daddy Yankee Gets San Antonio Dancing At The AT&T Center! This is San Antonio’s second Daddy Yankee show that was added on after a sold out show previously in September! San Antonio has a special spot for Daddy Yankee as we dig his music hard! We been fans of Legendaddy since Gasolina hit every DJ’s set in the clubs and bars in San Antonio back in the day. We were glad his career continued with other hits such as Rompe, Despacito, Shaky Shaky, Con Calma, and much more!
We arrived around 6pm to AT&T Center and found parking pretty quick for my late arrival. We were able to get our media tickets for the show and wait to be checked by security. Once inside, we took a pictures of the Daddy Yankee display before we hit the curtain which of course is pretty cool. We then got some Whataburger inside AT&T Center to get some grub as you know its delicious. Then we sat down in our seats and waited for Daddy Yankee!
Once Daddy Yankee came out, we were blown away by the airplane he came out on. Yes, he came out from the cockpit of an airplane! He started the show hot and kept it going with a catalog of his songs from throughout his career. While everyone was dancing around me, I just watched and enjoyed a spectacular and well produced show. Daddy Yankee had so much crowd interaction during the show that it felt like a celebration of telling old stories and dancing to a close friend.
The crowd was having so much fun singing and dancing throughout the show. Throughout each song, I saw so many people dancing either with their significant other or just with themselves. They were getting immersed into the power of music that was sung and performed by Daddy Yankee. You know me, I had to get up and dance a bit while Con Calma was being played. I had that itch to be shown on the TV screen while the camera operators were looking for lucky fans to be shown, but I wasn’t. No worries on that, I let the power of music take me to another world and enjoy the journey of Daddy Yankee’s musical career.
Another amazing concert at AT&T Center and we are excited to have been part of the celebration of Daddy Yankee in San Antonio.
