July 28, 2023 (Nashville, TN): Singer-songwriter Aaron Marlowe releases his new LP titled “Resurrection“.

Singer-songwriter Aaron Marlowe‘s long awaited album titled ‘Resurrection’ is finally here and we could not be more excited. His previous release of “Heroes” was just a teaser for what he has in store for the world. This LP includes 10 tracks, 8 Aaron Marlowe originals and 2 innovative covers.

This album starts off strong with Marlowe’s personal favorite, “Bottom of the Shot Glass.” Aaron reaches deep, pulling out the grit in his voice as he sings about looking for his lost love in the bottom of a shot glass. In this head-banging tune, he sticks to his classic rock roots in the instrumentation. The sound of the lead guitar along with the funky bass rhythm underneath could make any listener jump out of their seat and dance around.

Aaron tells the story of his late cousin in “The Old Countryside,” demonstrating his singer-songwriter charm. Listeners can picture the scene as Aaron and his cousin Dave rocked out together in their old band. With a strong country influence, Aaron reminds us to hold on tight to our loved ones and, “Cherish what you have now/Learn from that old dusty road.”

One of the covers on the album is the iconic Johnny Cash hit, “Wayfaring Stranger.” Aaron makes the song his own by adding a rock flair to the classic country tune with heavy drums and an impressive guitar solo. Aaron shows his versatility in this cover, seamlessly blending rock and country and making the well-known tune a perfect addition to his originals.

While Aaron writes about heavy themes and tragedy, he inspires hope and healing in his music, always uplifting listeners and remembering the good times fondly.  With diverse instrumentation and addicting bass and guitar solos, Aaron has crafted a meaningful and catchy album that you can’t help but fall in love with.
