Doesn’t matter if your in Dallas, San Antonio, Harlingen, Corpus Christi, etc, you knew word for word many of those tracks. I grew up to music of Slim Thug, Chamillionaire, DJ Screw, Paul Wall, and many more artists. One of the artists I would jam when I’m cruising is Z-Ro. His words in music resonated with me because of the situations he encountered and pushed hard to succeed. Mo City Don is different though as its an anthem for people not only living in Houston but in Texas. Mo City Don is an older track from Z-Ro that never gotten a music video but its sang word for word by everyone.

The music video for Mo City Don shows a unification of Houston where you live the life. There are scenes that showcase the Houston’s neighborhoods featuring artists, musicians, and more that represent that area. As a person that has family living in Houston and would travel the 8 hours to visit growing up in the RGV, these scenes brought back beautiful memories. H-Town is Texas’s beloved major city not to what it has but how its represented. The pride that comes from the love the artists and musicians bring to view , but the people of Houston is what makes H-Town special. Z-Ro captured that with his hit track Mo City Don many years ago but still resonates today with this music video.
