Gets Hobby Card Game Treatment
Nerdvana Game Studios and XYZ Game Labs release brand new card game based on Borderlands
March 28th, Boston, MA: In front of a crowded audience at PAX East, Randy Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox Software, announced a new Borderlands card game with a magic performance. Using cards from the new card game, “Borderlands: Tiny Tina’s Robot Tea Party”, Mr. Pitchford wowed the crowd and marked the game’s official release. Published by Nerdvana Game Studios and XYZ Game Labs, this is the first wide release tabletop game made in the Borderlands universe.

About “Borderlands: Tiny Tina’s Robot Tea Party”: Featuring brand new original art and character designs never seen anywhere else; this is the first wide release tabletop game ever set in the Borderlands universe. It’s made to be the perfect filler game, with dead simple rules, a quick play time and plenty of interaction. Gameplay is light but competitive, with a 15-30 minute playtime for 2-5 players. Players are guests at a tea party hosted by Tiny Tina, where they compete to build one of five fan favorite versions of Claptrap. On their way to victory players can ruin each other’s plans by placing mis-matched parts on their opponent’s Claptraps, stealing cards, or using various bonus action cards. This officially licensed product is a collaboration of Nerdvana Games, Gearbox Software and XYZ Game Labs.
