Whirlwind FX Launches SignalRGB, a Subscription-Based RGB Software Platform Enabling Users to Control and Sync Lighting Across Third-Party Gaming Peripherals

The new innovative PC gaming platform allows RGB enthusiasts to experience reactive LED lighting with
any RGB-enabled device and provides access to its unique content library of game integrations and

effects on third party products

April 12, 2021 — Whirlwind FX, the creator of PC gaming peripherals leading the next evolution of
immersive gaming, announced the launch of a new, industry-first RGB gaming software, SignalRGB. The
revolutionary subscription-based platform allows users to utilize the company’s content-reactive RGB
software across popular gaming hardware peripherals from any brand — enabling control and
synchronization of a gamer’s entire multi-brand setup with one easy-to-use application.
Until now, RGB enthusiasts have experienced roadblocks outfitting their setup with the best peripherals
— mechanical keyboards, mice, fans, LED strips, etc. — from various gaming hardware providers. Each
accessory requires its own software to control RGB lighting, meaning a gamer must run several programs
simultaneously, causing slower speeds and endless frustration. Additionally, there is no way to sync
uniform LED effects rippled across a collection of multi-brand peripherals. With SignalRGB, customers
can now unify their lighting setup across a variety of brands for free.

SignalRGB allows users to experience and control lighting across all RGB products with one
comprehensive software solution. Subscribers also gain access to Whirlwind FX’s patented software that
reacts to game events using smart screen analysis, along with the brand’s growing library of game
integrations offering deep effects and limitless customization on all the top games.

“We’re thrilled to launch the beta version of SignalRGB. No longer do you need five different software
applications to set the colors of your rig to match, or to ripple reactive LED effects across your setup.
With a single keystroke, you’ll have simple and controllable lighting that matches on every product,” says

Timothy Sun, CEO and founder of Whirlwind FX. “Our expansion into the software space is not only a
major step in furthering our mission of providing immersive PC gaming experiences without limits, but
also a game-changing moment for the industry.”

The platform will offer subscribers a basic or pro version of the software depending on their needs.
SignalRGB Basic is available to users at no cost, offering synchronization for RGB lighting peripherals with
basic preset effects across all third-party products, including a variety of idle lightscripts and audio
visualizers. SignalRGB Pro enables control of reactive lighting on all third-party RGB devices in a single
software, and provides access to Whirlwind FX’s exclusive library of advanced preset effects and game
integrations for enhanced immersion. More than 70 integrations are currently available for the most
popular games, with new content released every week.

SignalRGB currently supports 150 of the most popular PC gaming peripherals, including products from
brands like Razer, Corsair, SteelSeries, HyperX, Logitech and more. As the software platform grows,
Whirlwind FX aims to offer compatibility with an even wider selection of RGB products. During beta, the
company is also urging users to provide feedback and suggestions of additional peripherals they’d like to
use on the platform.

“As a brand, we pride ourselves in both actively seeking feedback from our community and continuously
implementing user suggestions,” says Sun. “We have submission forms available for suggested products
to be integrated into the software engine, as well as suggested games for new integrations.”
SignalRGB Pro is now available with monthly, six-month and annual subscription plans starting at only
$2.99 per month. Users can try out the platform risk-free and cancel anytime. Additionally, customers
using Whirlwind FX RGB hardware peripherals, such as its Element mechanical keyboard, Atom 60%
keyboard, LED FX Strips and environmental simulator, Vortx, will receive free access to SignalRGB Pro on
the brand’s entire collection of devices.
