Wheel of Time Season 1 Prime Video Review

I had gotten press releases in the past for this TV Show on Prime Video. The TV show is called Wheel of Time and at first, it didn’t capture my attention. The poster that was used for marketing just turned me off to actually watching the show. Eventually, I was looking for a new show to watch on Prime Video and stumbled upon Wheel of Time. I decided to give it a chance as I saw they just released their new Season 2 as well. I thought I might just binge the first season and see where we go from there!

Well…I should have watched it when it first came out! This show is hella good!

I was able to watch the Wheel of Time on my Prime Video subscription. I watched the show using my Xbox Series S on a 1080 television with 4K output.

Our thoughts

Pro:

  • Story
    • Moiraine is on a private mission to find the Dragon Reborn and may have found him or her. Well, she found 5 young villagers that could either inherit evil or good. Each villager slowly discovers they have a special gift that they will each reveal throughout the series. At the end, the Dragon Reborn I had picked in my mind while watching the series wasn’t what I thought who it would be. A very good choice though as it opened up a lot of possibilities for another season.
  • Each Character Power
    • I’m glad each character have a power that doesn’t per se resonate with the Dragon Reborn, but into its own storyline. I would have thought they would killed all the characters that isn’t Dragon Reborn which wasn’t the case though. My favorite character at the moment a is Egwene. During the beginning as the show, she was displayed as fragile yet comforting. Egwene, I felt, was the character that held the group together and was the strongest against all the situations they were put into.

Con:

None

Rating: 10 out of 10
