We Happy Few Xbox Series S Review

We Happy Few Xbox Series S Review

Recently, We Happy Few has came out on the Xbox Game Pass. I had heard about this game in the past, but never signed up to review and try out the game. With Xbox Game Pass, I’m able to download the full game and play on my Xbox Series S. The game did require some space on my Xbox but the download was quick.

I played for about 40 minutes before stopping during to Motion Sickness. The story of the game is very interesting and wished I could have played and learned more about it, but man, I had to take a big break. Either way, the game is free for Xbox Game Pass members so if you have a chance, check it out.

Our Thoughts

Pro:

  • Arthur’s Story
    • I was able to play through Arthur’s story in the game. I enjoyed learning more about him and what had happened to England during that time. Those “happy pills” were disguising what was really going on around him and it was pretty tragic on learning more about his story.
  • Animation
    • The animation was pretty intense which provided a much detailed experience for me. I enjoyed the historical take on how England became a wasteland due to those happy pills. The infused tech mixed with a country style version of England was pretty cool, I digged that.

Con:

  • Motion Sickness
    • Yep, I got motion sickness while playing the game. The graphics were pretty good yet intense for my vision.

Rating: 7 out of 10
