Wake the Wild’s new single, “Wasting Time,” is a smooth, R&B ballad about dating someone out of your league. When she’s flawless inside and out, you have to wonder how you got so lucky or if it’s just a dream. “Wasting Time” is the second single off of Wake the Wild’s new EP, which is set to drop later this year.
Their first single off of their upcoming EP, “Made 4 U,” was released earlier this May, and is a groovy track with a vibrant sound leading into smooth and sweet vocals.
Wake the Wild is a three-piece band that fuses funky electro with R&B and nu-disco. Now based in Los Angeles, these longtime friends grew up playing together in the Bay Area jazz scene. The combination of catchy melodies with pocket grooves and good vibes make listening feel like a poolside dance party.
Wake the Wild has performed at notable LA venues such as The Satellite, The Hotel Cafe, The Bootleg Theater, Dirty Laundry, The Peppermint Club and The Moroccan Lounge. The trio also has an upcoming performance on July 24, 2021 at Molly Malones in Los Angeles.
