Vinilious SATX to Showcase Top Local Talent at Paper Tiger

San Antonio, TX – Nov. 15, 2024 – San Antonio’s vibrant music scene takes center stage as Vinilious SATX presents an exciting showcase of local talent at Paper Tiger on January 10th, 2025. This one-night event celebrates the unique artistry of emerging San Antonio musicians, featuring performances by acclaimed artists Montufar, Alex Beltran, Mariana BE, and Baby Bleu. Meet the Artists:

 

MONTUFAR – This sibling duo, known for their fusion of indie rock and alternative pop, has earned widespread attention with their debut tracks “OJOS” and “ESCAPARNOS,” which were featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Latin and various editorial playlists. Their latest single, “DEFECTOS,” recorded at their home studio in Texas, blends Latin alternative pop with the power of stadium rock, featuring collaborations with renowned musicians like Pipe Ceballos (Zoé) and John Waugh (The 1975). Marifer & Victor are currently working with Grammy Nominee, Evan Smith (Bleachers), on their latest single “SUÉTER” that will be released on Jan. 10, 2025. Montufar continues to innovate their own sound.

 

Alex Beltran – This San Antonio-based singer-songwriter brings a bicultural perspective to his heartfelt lyrics and melodic ballads. Growing up between the U.S. and Mexico, Alex picked up the guitar at 13, drawing inspiration from classic ballads, Punk Rock, and Emo. During the pandemic, he began writing about his life experiences, debuting his single “Por Fin Podemos Sonreír,” a powerful anthem about resilience and overcoming challenges.

 

Mariana BE – With a multicultural sound shaped by her international upbringing, Mariana Be has quickly become a rising star on the global music scene. The award-winning artist claimed 1st Place and “Audience Choice” at UTSA’s 2019 New Music Festival and won Best Original Song at Pope Francis’ International Youth Competition in 2021, which led to her performance at World Youth Day in Lisbon. She is set to release her bilingual album, The Magdala Experience, in Spring 2025. She self-wrote, executive produced, and recorded the album in the Holy Land.Her music blends influences from around the world. She has produced, recorded, and performed in Israel, London, Spain, Italy, Mexico, and the U.S. Her songs explore spiritual themes, filled with hope, love, and life experiences, resonating deeply with listeners through her authentic, uplifting, and versatile pop sound.

 

Baby Bleu – Baby Bleu is an emerging singer and songwriter whose passion for music deepened after a spiritual awakening in 2022. Raised on country music and Celine Dion, she began performing at church after becoming a Christian, where worship music reignited her love for singing and songwriting. Her sound blends influences from her experiences of moving to Los Angeles, dealing with heartbreak, and embracing faith, combining alternative rock and lo-fi pop. Her music explores themes of renewal, emotional depth, and personal growth, with atmospheric vocals and ethereal instrumentals that evoke both spiritual and earthly connections.
