Yes, I missed a week! Who wasn’t busy at SXSW in Austin? Organizing and hosting a charity event to raise money for two charities in one day? I was pretty busy these past few weeks but was able to get them done. Oh and I dehydrated myself big time. I’m doing better now by drinking more water and being sure to take my b12 vitamins.

Anyways, been listening to a lot of music recently. I will do a throwback SXSW episode soon of what I heard there (stop asking, will do it soon). Here are some tracks that will get you through the weekend with a cold drink in your hand and a nice cigar on the other!

Here are some music:

Nick Henderson – ‘no u’

Returning with the sun-soaked single, ‘no u’, Virginia-based artist Nick Henderson has us ready for summer. This vibrant release may be warm on the surface, but listen to the lyrics and you’ll find a deeper meaning to this track.

TeleChild – ‘Tarantino’

Dubai-based alt-rock duo TeleChild have returned with their full length album ‘Turn on Your Favourite Show’. The album arrives with a stand out track that transports you to a sultry soundscape, conjuring images of a lounge bar and the promise of the night ahead, it’s no surprise it’s called ‘Tarantino’.

James Aaron – ‘3 Words’

R&B artist James Aaron returns with his impressive new single ‘3 Words’. The soulful new single is a stunning example of James’ melodic vocals.

Sara Cruz – ‘Lost on Love’

Sara Cruz has teamed up with Glisten Beats on this stunning lo-fi offering. ‘Lost on Love’ shows off Sara’s sweet and delicate vocals that we just can’t get enough of!

MVNU – ‘fairytale’

Mvnu (pronounced man-u) has just dropped his new EP ‘invertedA’,(do you get it?), including a stand out track ‘fairytale’. The anti-pop offering is a wistful track that combines rap, emo, lo-fi and indie. We’re just loving Mvnu’s unique sound.
