Critically acclaimed trailblazer UPSAHL channels the energy of a woman scorned with her latest fiery single “Lunatic,” out today. The song, which is a thumping pop driven anthem that screams bad b*tch energy, is a highlight off her upcoming debut album coming soon.

On the release, UPSAHL shared, “The day I wrote Lunatic, I was having such a shit day that I almost didn’t show up to the studio… I ended up going in pajamas, no makeup, angry as fuck at the world. I walked into the studio and started venting about the whole situation to Jonny and Will (co-writers), and I just kind of ended up going into the vocal booth and screaming into the mic. I feel like people are so scared of being the “crazy ex,” but sometimes you kind of just want to go fucking crazy. This song is owning that.”

In addition to UPSAHL’s full run of fall dates across the U.S. opening for Olivia O’Brien, this week, UPSAHL sold out her first-ever headline show debut at the Courtyard Theatre in London on October 12th. She recently announced latest headliner date at Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco on November 30th. FULL TOUR ROUTING BELOW.

In just a few short years, UPSAHL has carved out a niche in the songwriting world as she has lent her pen to numerous hits spanning various genres such as Dua Lipa’s GRAMMY Award-winning “Good in Bed,” Madison Beer’s fiery single “BOYSHIT,” and “Happy Endings” with Mike Shinoda and iann dior which went Top 10 at Alt Radio. Most recently, UPSAHL collaborated with Anne-Marie and Little Mix and co-wrote “Kiss My (Uh Oh)” a current Top 10 single in the UK.
