Today, critically acclaimed trailblazer and “musical force to be reckoned with” (Nylon) UPSAHL announces her debut run of U.S. headline shows. The dates kick off tomorrow night, November 30th, at The Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco and visits renowned venues such as Brooklyn’s Baby’s all Right and Boston’s Brighton Music Hall. Fans can purchase tickets HERE.

These shows will follow on the heels of her run of dates across the U.S. opening for Olivia O’Brien. Night after night, the media has been raving about her live set:

“the fiery artist made an impression in her support slot….deftly switching between guitar, bass, the 22-year-old had an utter command of the stage that was incredibly impressive…. It was impossible to leave without bowing down to what might be one of pop’s new overlords.”

-Melodic Magazine

“UPSAHL has all the makings to become music’s newest superstar, and she proved all of that and more at Cannery Ballroom.”

-Loud Hailer Magazine

“we could feel the singer’s passion for music throughout the entire venue.”

-The Honey Pop

The rising alt-pop artist also announced a 2022 run of tour dates opening for K. Flay beginning in February, then joining Yungblud, as support for the West Coast leg of his upcoming North American Tour. Soon thereafter UPSAHL will head overseas to join Fletcher on her European/UK tour. This year, she will join Twenty-One Pilots, and Glass Animals at 97X Next Big Thing in Tampa, FL, on December 4th, and Weezer at Alt-AZ’s Holiday Show in Phoenix, AZ, on December 11th.

UPSAHL recently released her debut album ‘Lady Jesus,’ which has garnered praise from Consequence, SPIN, Nylon, Alt Press and many more, and anointed the singer as one of People Magazine “25 Emerging Musical Artists You Should Add To Your Playlist.” The 10 track project is an expansive collection of infectious alt-pop songs that radiate don’t f*** with me energy and showcase UPSAHL’s “expert” (Alt Press) storytelling. Upon release, the album saw playlisting in over 30 New Music Friday lists, covers for Spotify’s SALT, The New Alt, and placements on Apple Music’s New in Pop, New in Alternative, and many more. In its first month, ‘Lady Jesus’ has garnered over 20 million streams worldwide.

About UPSAHL

Early in her career, UPSAHL released songs which gained much-deserved recognition throughout the Phoenix music scene. As a graduate of the Arizona School for the Arts, she went on to ignite a groundswell of fan adoration and tastemaker praise by way of numerous indie alternative gems. “Can You Hear Me Now” achieved a palpable viral buzz followed by the widely praised single “Drugs”, which has been used in nearly 2,000,000 TikTok videos, reaching #6 on the TikTok Viral Chart and #1 Sound on the TikTok Trends Chart. It has also been featured in clips posted by the likes of James Charles, Charly Jordan, Alex French, Jason Derulo, and more. “Drugs” led to a momentous year for the “up-and-coming indie-pop queen”—according to Alternative Press.

2019 saw UPSAHL take the stage at Lollapalooza and support acts including PVRIS, Joywave, BROODS, and Young the Giant. Additionally, YouTube claimed UPSAHL as their ‘Artist on the Rise,’ Nylon proclaimed, “She’s on her rock star ish,” and NME declared she “has a knack for fusing fizzy hooks with her drawling delivery of pithy lyrics. The result – her vibrant alt-pop bops.”

2020 was a standout year for UPSAHL, releasing her second EP Young Life Crisis, which Billboard crowned as one of the top 25 pop albums of 2020. Earlier in the year, UPSAHL undertook her first co-write on “Good in Bed” for Dua Lipa’s GRAMMY Award winning blockbuster, Future Nostalgia, and recently lent her pen to Madison Beer on her fiery single “BOYSHIT,” as well as Mike Shinoda’s upbeat anthem “Happy Endings,” which features her and iann dior. Complete with throwback alternative vibes and her signature unfiltered lyricism, UPSAHL’s debut album ‘Lady Jesus’ is out now.
