I was able to get access to the Beta for Undying on Steam and I have to say Wow! I was hooked right after the cinematic sequence describing the story. Your a mother that is taking care of her son that is trying to get back with her husband during the attack of the zombies. A situation happens that causes you and your son to be separated from the group but you got bitten by a zombie. You and your son rush home and try to figure out what to do next!

Afterwards, you start collecting clues on the situation going on and start preparing yourself to want to live longer. You create a baseball bat in your home and find food and items that can be useful. You walk around your neighborhood and fight with zombies that want to eat your brains. Then, you go upstairs to sleep  cause you know, you need your energy for the next day. The following day, you head out to a subway to find out more information on what had happened to your husband and where you will need to go in order to be reunited with him.

I have to say this game is one of the best games I have played in years! I was hooked as I was looking for ways to stretch my food for myself and son Cody. The survival of the game was very life like cause of the kind of food you would find and the need to eat and sleep as well. Once I hit another part of town, I finished this quick demo but there are more hours to it just need to take a look around. The exploration of the city around you including your home is fascinating. I enjoyed just discovering new clues and items to use for food, defense and of course putting them in storage for later use. I will take another look around but I have to say, I’m liking what I’m seeing so far!
