Ultra Mega Cats Brings Feline Ferocity to TwitchCon ‘24

SAN DIEGO, California – September 19th, 2024 — Attention all feline fanatics! Fallen Leaf Studio and its upcoming roguelike shooter Ultra Mega Cats will be on the prowl at TwitchCon 2024, held at the San Diego Convention Center and running from Friday, September 20th until Sunday, September 22nd. A cyberpunk roguelike shooter with the cel-shaded style and charm of Saturday morning cartoons, Ultra Mega Cats lets players step into the paws of feline rebels on a mission to overthrow the yoke of their vermin oppressors. So grab your most deadly shuriken and power up your mechsuit—you have a cat-filled city to save!

At Booth #2923-ND, attendees can initiate or join a co-op session with a friend, selecting their preferred kitty combatant and battling against hordes of mecha-rodents. As the stealthy assassin Kagero, players can show off their deadly precision through her archery and ninja abilities, while giant mech fans who prefer to have plenty of gadgets at their disposal will feel at home playing as the towering BBKat. During and between gaming sessions, players can dip their paws into the Ultra Mega Cats progression system, customizing their feline warriors to utter purr-fection.

And to cap off their play session, players will be invited to take a photo with a cardboard replica of one of the in-game characters!
