Los Angeles-based artist Thoreau has a new single, “Android Jones,” which is a song for those rainy summer nights when you’re home alone. It’s for when you’re missing someone or you’re hoping that someone is missing you. The new Lo-Fi track is supposed to make you question yourself, your previous relationship and to decide what to do moving forward.

Thoreau has been creating music since the age of 10. The adoption of his stage name is a testament to his passion for nature, music and writing. Thoreau first made waves in 2016 amongst EDM fans on SoundCloud with his vast collection of remixes, all amassing thousands of streams individually. After developing further as a producer and songwriter, he felt a strong desire to share his voice, lyricism and messages with the world. Thus far, Thoreau’s fans have been able to witness his experimentation across genres like Hip-Hop, EDM and now Lo-Fi, resulting in the formation of a unique and versatile sound and skill-set.

Thoreau has previously played at Lights All Night in Dallas, Nocturnal Wonderland in California, Euphoria in Texas and has opened for bands including Kill Paris and many more.
