Helsinki, Finland – June 22, 2021 – Break the gates and seize control! Developer Vaki Games has launched a Steam open beta for the highly-anticipated fantasy medieval combat game Kingshunt following today’s AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution event reveal. Kingshunt is an online third-person multiplayer PvP title that blends components of tower defense, brutal melee combat, and real-time strategy. Inspired by titles such as Paragon and For Honor, Kingshunt allows players to select from one of six heroes, one to fit each and every playstyle. Players can join the beta on Steam now by requesting access. The beta will last until Friday, June 25 at 9 am ET / 6 am PT.

Each game pits two teams of five against each other with a goal of controlling select territories across the map. In each zone, there is a powerful Guardian that protects the tower, hundreds of horde foes. Both teams must compete against enemy AI, as well as each other, to take control.

A full list of features include:

  • Strategic and deliberate combat in asymmetrical 5v5 ‘Guardian Assault’ mode.
  • Study arcane abilities to create devastating magical attacks that wipe out your foes.
  • Choose from a roster of characters who use their unique mastery of skills and abilities to suit multiple playstyles.
  • Unlock game-changing utilities for both sides that allow players to build and destroy their way to victory.
