THE WRONG EARTH: NIGHT AND DAY #6 Comic Book Review

THE WRONG EARTH: NIGHT AND DAY #6 Comic Book Review

SPOILER ALERT!

In this issue, we see Man-Dragonfly trying to figure out what to do with Dragonflyman and Dragonfly. While being held down by Nightsting, Stinger finds the power to overcome him and escape their clutches. While Dragonfly and Dragonflyman make their appearance, Man-Dragonfly escapes through one of the mirror dimensions. While talking with Nightsting, they decide to find the Mirror Smasher and destroy the mirrors. With an itchy trigger finger, Nightsting destroys all the mirrors before Dragonfly and Man-Dragonflyman could return to their own Earths.

Is that the end? We are lead to additional pages of Epilogue 1 and Epilogue 2 where each provided additional information of the after effects of the smashed mirrors. Epilogue 1 showed us how Man-Dragonfly is trapped in Earth – Omega and is freaking out about it. He sits down and has a drink with a lady of the mansion, and she gives him some insight on things he should be doing now. Epilogue 2 gave us a glimpse of the chaos the criminals are doing in Earth Alpha!

I have to say this issue was pretty damn good! Dragonfly and Dragonflyman showed poise in their situation while still comforting the distraught Stinger. I liked how they weren’t mean at all to Nightsting even though Stinger wanted him destroyed. I get that they have that soft spot for him and other variations of Stinger. I really enjoyed the Epilogue 1 and 2 stories of what happened next with the rash decision of Nightsting. I really felt this gave us a good view of how things would happen without our heroes there to keep the criminals at bay. I can’t wait for another season of Wrong Earth and see how our heroes will try to do to escape the planet.
