The Wrong Earth: Meat Comic Book Review

This issue of The Wrong Earth: Meat is freaking amazing! I just couldn’t stop reading this issue and see how much emotion was put into the story. The issue starts off with this kid just about to be hit by Cross until Dragonfly comes in for the save. We beat the snot out of this guy and keeps on telling him that he is a kid and shouldn’t be in this situation. Then Dragonfly looks at the kid and then it goes to Earth Alpha!

In this part, Dragonflyman and Stinger meet up with Meat as he and his cronies are stealing meat. Once they are in a fight, Meat’s cronies get the upper hand and capture Dragonflyman and Stinger. They are hung upside down and will be dipped into a stew that is boiling hot. Dragonflyman has something up his sleeve and with a little bit of Sodium, he is able to blow up the huge stew pot and save himself and Stinger.

Then next Earth, we see Dragonfly with the kid and they are taking some shots while talking to each other. Dragonfly lets him know the situation with Stinger and how he is missing. He is really torn up about Stinger being gone and Dragonfly not able to find him.

While that is going on, Dragonflyman and Stinger are going through a situation where he doesn’t want Stinger to survive and no longer to be hurt.

I’ll stop here…this issue is written very well and deeply rooted on both Earths. They both go through their own tragedy as well as talk about the situation in their lives. I’m so damn impressed with the writing and how creative they were in this issue. I highly recommend reading this issue from beginning to end as I won’t spoil the rest of it anymore.
