A Coruña, Spain – July 27, 2020 – Gato Salvaje Studio’s Celtic time travelling RPG, The Waylanders launches on the GOG Games in Development program today as part of GOG’s latest RPG sale. The Waylanders will be priced at $34.99 USD / €34.99 for the duration of the Games in Development program and launches with a temporary discount of 10%.

The Waylanders in Games in Development contains approximately 10 to 12 hours of the planned 30 to 40-hour adventure exploring Celtic mythology from Spain and surrounding regions. This party-based, real-time with pause adventure, will let players recruit nine companions and explore over 40 maps in the Celtic Era. This early version of the game allows players to create characters using the six base classes and discover a variety of combined attack formations.
Updates are planned to be released to both GOG and Steam simultaneously with content additions and gameplay improvements released on a two-week update cadence through summer. The Waylanders is English-only during the development phase, with plans for Spanish, Galician, French, German, Simplified Chinese, Russian to be included in future updates closer to launch. An expanded development roadmap will be released towards the end of August.
As announced on July 21, Kickstarter backers of The Waylanders will be receiving GOG Games In Development codes in addition to their Steam Early Access keys so they can play on their preferred PC platform.
