SAN ANTONIO, TX (June 27) With their anniversary on the horizon, The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts recognizes The Tobin Endowment as the Title Sponsor for their year-long 10th Anniversary Celebration “A Decade in the Spotlight” and for the endowment’s contribution of $100,000.

September 13, 2024, marks ten years of the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, a decade filled with outstanding performances, groundbreaking education initiatives, and the fostering of a vibrant arts community in South Texas. Thanks in part to the generous support of The Tobin Endowment as its naming capital donor, the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts has welcomed nearly 2.4 million guests through the doors at over 4,400 events, contributing to the growth of San Antonio through over $207M in economic impact.

The Tobin Endowment’s support as the 10th Anniversary Title Sponsor enhances the significance of this important milestone and contributes to the continued success and sustainability of the Tobin Center for years to come.

The Tobin name is synonymous with the arts, theater, opera, historic preservation and civic support. The Tobin Endowment, a private charitable foundation, maintained by J. Bruce Bugg, Jr., Chairman and Trustee, sustains the family name through philanthropic work in these broad areas to fulfill its mission to support these areas cherished by the Tobin family through its charitable grants to non-profit organizations, primarily in the San Antonio, Texas area.

To celebrate, The Tobin Center will host a free community block party for its birthday as well as an enhanced Holiday Arts Market and Annual Benefit Concert.  Final date announcements for these events are forthcoming.
