Dear Patrons, Donors and Friends of The Tobin Center:

As our community continues to respond to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation, Mayor Ron Nirenberg and the City of San Antonio have issued an order to cancel or postpone gatherings of 500 or more.

The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts and its resident companies will immediately follow this order. We appreciate the leadership of our public officials and will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves to ensure the health and well-being of our patrons, artists, and staff before anything else.

We are currently working to reschedule all performances through April 25th that were set to take place in our venues. Your patience with us is greatly appreciated, as this process may take some time. We will directly email patrons regarding the status of each performance as details are confirmed. The most up-to-date status for each event is available on our website calendar at www.tobincenter.org.

As events reschedule, patrons will be notified of the postponement, and the new event details as soon as we have them. Those who cannot make the rescheduled event date will have the opportunity to request a refund for a limited amount of time once the new date has been announced.

Please be patient, as we remain dedicated to presenting as many performances in the future as possible, and it will take some time to work with all scheduled performers.

Should your event cancel in the future, all tickets and parking paid will be automatically refunded to your original form of payment. Please note: refunds are only available for tickets purchased directly through the Tobin Center’s TOBi Box Office (in person, by phone or online).

The Tobin Center is not responsible for the refund practices put in place by secondary ticket providers.

The health and safety of our patrons, artists, and staff are top priority for the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.  We hope that the healing effects of the performing arts and culture will help heal and unite the community upon our return.

Please consider making a tax deductible donation to The Tobin Center (a non-profit arts organization) to assist and maintain our community mission through these very challenging times. Please go to www.tobincenter.org/donate.

Sincerely,

Michael J. Fresher

President and Chief Executive Officer
