The Suicide Squad Chops the Head off the Past with a Quirky comment here and there!

Spoiler Alert! If you haven’t seen the movie yet on HBO MAX or to the theaters, then click out of this article and go bitch about it on our FACEBOOK page! Be sure to like it first haha!

Well now, with the theatrics out of the way, lets get down to business! This MOVIE KICKS ASS! From beginning to the end, I was astonished on well James Gunn and the cast of The Suicide Squad showcased a pretty awesome movie. He took fans on a wild ride of emotion and stories throughout this movie!

I was able to watch it earlier on HBO MAX last night and was stunned on how good this movie is. I was thinking it might be an unorganized mess but instead, was shown a masterpiece. This is the vision MARVEL should have had for their next phase in story telling, movies and TV Shows. Instead, its been hard to watch session of TV shows and a movie 3 years too late.

James Gunn provided a look on how DC could take the reigns in a culture starving for creativity and entertainment in movies, TV Shows, and story telling. The Suicide Squad gave us a creative and entertaining approach of what a comic book movie should strive for next.

Here is a short review of what we liked and what we didn’t of the movie below:

What We Liked:

  • Polka Dot Man
    • YASSS!! We enjoyed this character brought to life by actor David Dastmachian! We have seen David showcase his acting skills on the silver screen and on the mic for DC animated films in the past!  We knew how talented of an actor he is and we are glad he took the helm of Polka Dot Man! His character’s backstory was not only sad and funny but provided an epic situation towards the end of the movie.
  • Destroying the Past
    • I know many people were wondering how well will James Gunn do in this new rendition of The Suicide Squad movie. Well, he showed you in the first 20 minutes of what he thought of the haters out there. He fixed that timeline through an awesome barrage of gun fire, explosions and oh yeah DEATH! I was shocked on how early this was showcased but when you think about it, this help set up the style of the movie.
  • Entertaining
    • I was entertained from beginning to end! Many movies these days don’t keep your attention which will cause people will check their cellphone. Well, I’m one of those people where if there is something not good or entertaining, I’ll jump into my cellphone. In this movie though, my cellphone stayed on the counter and I watched with a heavy eye throughout this movie. Digged it hard!

What We Didn’t Like:

  • Waller character
    • I didn’t like her character, felt redundant and should have her replaced with someone else.

Rating: 9.5 out of 10

Watch now on HBO MAX or go check it out at the movie theaters!
